Streamline Your Maintenance with Our Electrostatic Filter Exchange Program
Maintaining your electrostatic filters doesn’t have to be a hassle. At Bee Clean Specialties, we understand the challenges maintenance managers and plant managers face when keeping air filtration systems operating properly. Whether you have SmogHog®, MistBuster®, Tri-Mist®, or another electrostatic air cleaner, our Maintenance Exchange Program is designed to simplify your maintenance routine while keeping your equipment operating efficiently.
Our exchange program takes care of everything from exchanging dirty filters for clean ones to thoroughly inspecting and testing each collection cell and ionizer.
Why Choose Our Filter Exchange Program?
Our Filter Exchange Program is designed to save your maintenance team time while providing consistent, reliable service. Instead of having your employees spend valuable time removing, cleaning, inspecting, and reinstalling electrostatic filters, Bee Clean handles the process for you.
By using our exchange program, you can:
- Reduce maintenance downtime.
- Keep clean, properly serviced filters ready for your next scheduled service.
- Careful cleaning and inspection extends the life of expensive collection cells and ionizers.
- Identify damaged components before they cause unexpected problems.
- Reduce the workload on your maintenance team.
- Keep your electrostatic air cleaners operating efficiently.
How Does the Filter Exchange Program Work?
1. Exchange Dirty Filters for Clean, Inspected Filters
The process starts by loading our trucks with carefully selected electrostatic filters that match the brand and model of your air cleaners. Once onsite we begin exchanging your dirty collection cells and ionizers for clean, inspected filters from our inventory.
Instead of waiting for your filters to be cleaned and serviced by your maintenance team. Bee Clean Specialties can simply install the clean filters and get the air cleaner back into operation quickly. This helps minimize downtime and keeps your production running.
2. Check the Air Cleaner
After the filters are exchanged, we inspect the air cleaner itself to make sure the system is operating properly.
We check the high-voltage system and fan system to ensure the equipment is functioning as it should. If replacement parts are needed, we stock many common components on our service trucks, including power supplies, switches, indicator lights, belts, and pulleys.
Having common replacement parts readily available allows us to complete many repairs without requiring a second service visit.
3. Thoroughly Clean the Filters
The dirty filters are brought back to our facility for professional cleaning.
Each collection cell and ionizer is cleaned using a multistage heated conveyor washer and aluminum-safe detergent. This process removes accumulated oil, dirt, smoke, and other contaminants from the filters. After the wash there are two rinse sections insuring a fully cleam and rinsed filter.
The wastewater generated during the cleaning process is picked up by Safety Kleen and processed so that oils and contaminants can be separated and properly recycled or disposed of.
Our Filter Exchange Program provides a convenient way to keep clean, properly serviced filters available while reducing downtime and taking the cleaning and inspection process off your maintenance team’s workload.4. Inspect and Test the Collection Cells and Ionizers
Cleaning is only one part of properly servicing an electrostatic filter. After cleaning, every collection cell and ionizer is individually inspected and repaired as needed.
Our inspection includes:
Visual inspection: We look for damaged or worn components.
Ionizer wire inspection: We check wire tension and look for broken or damaged wires.
Collection cell inspection: We check plate spacing and rod tension.
Insulator inspection: We check for carbon tracking, cracks, contamination, or other damage.
Arcing damage inspection: We look for signs of electrical arcing or other damage that could affect performance.
High-voltage testing: Each filter is tested under high voltage to simulate its operation when installed in the air cleaner.
This combination of cleaning, inspection, repair, and high-voltage testing helps ensure that your filters are ready to go back into service.
5. Inventory the Clean Filters
Once the filters have been cleaned, inspected, repaired, and tested, they are returned to our inventory.
Having your filters in our warehouse means clean, serviced filters are ready for your next scheduled exchange. This eliminates the need to wait for your filters to be cleaned before getting your air cleaner back into operation.
Benefits of Our Electrostatic Filter Exchange Program
- Save Time
- Your maintenance team does not have to spend hours cleaning and inspecting electrostatic collection cells and ionizers. Simply exchange your dirty filters for clean ones and get your equipment back into operation.
- Reduce Downtime
- Because clean filters are already available, the exchange process can be completed quickly, helping reduce the amount of time your air cleaner is out of service.
- Improve Reliability
- Every filter is cleaned, inspected, repaired as needed, and high-voltage tested before being returned to inventory. This helps ensure that the filters are ready to perform when you need them.
- Extend Equipment Life
- Regular professional cleaning and inspection can help identify problems before they become major failures. Proper maintenance can also extend the useful life of collection cells, ionizers, and other expensive components.
- Reduce the Maintenance Workload
- Outsourcing your electrostatic filter maintenance allows your maintenance team to focus on other important responsibilities instead of spending time cleaning and troubleshooting air filtration equipment.
