Bee Clean Specialties: 1977-2022 Celebrating 45 years!
It has been another incredible year here at Bee Clean Specialties! This December marks our 45th year in business!
In 1977 Bee Clean started with one man in his garage steam cleaning truck engines. In 1978 the first electrostatic cell was cleaned through an on-site steam cleaning service. We continued to clean cells this way until 1981, when we bought Lundmarks Tepco Cleaning service and got our first washer and first Tepco exchange cells! In 1991 we moved out of the garage and into our first building!
In the following years Bruce, Scott, and Craig McAbery joined the family business! They later bought the business from their father in 2012. Third-generation family members are now actively involved in the business.
Throughout the 2000’s we were able to purchase three more air filtration service companies, a better conveyor washer, and move into a bigger building, expanding our service range to Wisconsin and Indiana! Today our Clean Air Switch program allows us to service 20+ brands of electrostatic air cleaners! Including SmogHog, MistBuster, & TriMist.
One thing that has never changed is our commitment to doing right by our customers and providing the most value possible. We have our loyal customers to thank for all our successes. Some of which we have been servicing for 44 years! Our dedicated service technicians embrace our mission every day, working through the rain, snow, and hot summer days to provide clean air across the midwest.
Some of our most notable accomplishments this year are adding a second facility in Detroit, MI, adding to our service truck fleet, and adding additional staff for future growth. Bee Clean now services over 2289 air cleaners through our Clean Air Switch Program in more than 977 facilities. What started with one man, one van, and a garage is now a team of 24, 10 trucks, and 2 facilities! This has extended our service range to now include Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and parts of Pennsylvania.
